COLUMBUS, OHIO -- To celebrate the upcoming 2015-16 National Hockey League season, the Columbus Blue Jackets invite all fans to attend "5th Line Fest" on Friday, September 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Nationwide Arena. The event will give fans the opportunity to meet Blue Jackets players, participate in other interactive activities and celebrate the game of hockey.Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
In addition to autograph sessions with players, activities include:
- Kids' floor hockey with Blue Jackets players
- Stage show featuring Q&A with Blue Jackets players
- Interactive game stations
- Photo booth kiosks
- Tours of the Blue Jackets locker room
- Open skating at the OhioHealth Ice Haus
- Kids' activities including face painters, bounce house and more
The Columbus Blue Jackets open their 15th National Hockey League season on Friday, October 9 as they host the New York Rangers at Nationwide Arena. Single game tickets for home games played at Nationwide Arena will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, September 1 at 10 a.m.
