Blue Jackets diehard reaches final of 'Fan of the Year' contest
A Columbus Blue Jackets superfan has a 50-50 shot at winning a league-wide prize.
"Dancing Kevin," the fan that dances with his shirt off during CBJ games, is in the final two for TSN's Bardown NHL Fan of the Year contest.
A No. 1 seed in the contest, "Dancing Kevin" gained notoriety this season when he busted a move with someone in a bear suit during the Jackets' home opener against the New York Rangers. Kevin guzzles beer and breaks it down with the message "Bear down on the NYR" written across his back (though simply explaining the moment does not do it justice).
"The Winnipeg Queen," a fan of the Winnipeg Jets seemingly inspired by a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II that had been hanging at the team's old arena and was brought to their new one this season.
Blue Jackets fans that want to show support for Columbus' own can vote here: http://ow.ly/OE3aD
Voting runs through Monday, June 29.
