Blue Jackets announce sale of single-game tickets
COLUMBUS, OHIO – As a special consideration for Columbus Blue Jackets fans within the state of Ohio and to complement the team’s #DefendNWA initiative, the club announced today that Ohio residents will have the first opportunity to purchase single game tickets for 2013-14 regular season home games when tickets go on sale Fri., Sept. 6 at 12 p.m.
The exclusive presale for Ohio residents will be in effect from Fri., Sept. 6 at 12 p.m. through Tues. Sept. 10 at 9 a.m. Tickets for those residing outside the state of Ohio will be available starting Tues., September 10 at 9 a.m. Residency is based on credit card billing address.
Fans may purchase single game tickets at BlueJackets.com, the official club web site, and ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available at the Big Lots Box Office at Nationwide Arena, The OhioHealth Chiller Ice Rinks and all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers. Fans may purchase tickets by phone at (800) 745‐3000.
In conjunction with Friday’s on-sale, fans are invited to come to Nationwide Arena for Front Street Friday starting at 11:30 a.m. The lunchtime plaza party in front of Nationwide Arena will feature food specials ($1 hot dogs, $1 chips and $1 beverages), music, games and autographs with Blue Jackets forward Matt Calvert from noon-1 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
The Blue Jackets invite fans to join the battle and #DefendNWA via their preferred social media channels from now through Opening Night on Friday, October 4. Social media users are encouraged to download #DefendNWA Facebook covers and Twitter avatars as well as upload video, Vine video or Instagram video for a chance to win Blue Jackets prizes.
