Bledsoe scratched from Suns' lineup vs Grizzlies
PHOENIX -- Suns guard Eric Bledsoe was scratched from the starting lineup against the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday with a sprained right knee and is questionable for Phoenix's game against Milwaukee on Saturday.
The team said the knee was bothering Bledsoe in a win over the Clippers on Monday, when he went 3 for 10 for seven points while playing 31 minutes.
Gerald Green started in place of Bledsoe for the 19-11 Suns on Thursday night.
Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said Bledsoe wanted to play against the Grizzlies, but that there was some swelling in the knee and the decision was made to hold him out. Hornacek was "not sure" if Bledsoe would be able to suit up against the Bucks.
Bledsoe, the Suns' second-leading scorer at 18.0 points per game, plans to practice Friday and see how it feels.
