Blaney Survives Chaos To Win Pocono Trucks Race
Ryan Blaney survived two attempts at a green-white-checkered finish to win Saturday's Pocono Mountains 125 at Pocono Raceway.
Blaney moved past Germain Quiroga on the final restart and pulled away from the field to score his second career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win. Trailing Blaney's Ford F-150 at the line was the Chevrolet Silverado of Miguel Paludo.
"These Ford motors gave us the pull we really needed on restarts, and that's what it came down to," Blaney said.
Quirogo held on to finish third followed by Joey Coulter's FOX Sports 1 truck. Ross Chastain, Ron Hornaday Jr., Darrell Wallace Jr., Matt Crafton, Brendan Gaughan and Brendan Newberry rounded out the top 10.
The first G-W-C attempt ended when Ty Dillon and Johnny Sauter crashed between turns 1 and 2. Sauter and Dillon exchanged words on pit road, but we can chalk it up to just another disagreement between the two drivers.

On a lighter note, Blaney's trophy is badass!
