Bills' Williams donates cars to Houston police

A year ago, Mario Williams left Houston to play in Buffalo. It ended a vaguely strained six-year relationship with the city of Houston. The Texans drafted Williams, a defensive end,  instead of Vince Young and Reggie Bush, which was an unpopular decision at the time. And then Williams set out being one of those guys who plays well (a two-time All Pro) but always leaves you wondering if there's more.

The point is, it was no surprise the Texans didn't match Buffalo's offer, nor was it a surprise Williams didn't give Houston a hometown discount.

Which isn't to say Williams isn't a giving man when it comes to Houston. Williams on Tuesday donated five Dodge Chargers to the Houston Police Department, according to the Houston Chronicle. In 2011 he donated five Chevy Camaros to HPD and in December gave one of his trucks to a married couple of Marine Corps veterans.

Williams just finished the first year of a six-year, $100 million contract with the Bills.
