The Bengals signed DE Kendrick Adams to the practice squad Tuesday.
Adams (6-5, 252; Louisiana State) is a first-year NFL player. He opened 2013 with Cleveland and played in the Browns’ first three preseason games, with eight tackles, before being waived on Aug. 27.
He entered the NFL in May of 2012 as a college free agent with Jacksonville, and during the ’12 season he spent time on the Tampa Bay, Detroit and Cleveland practice squads.
