Texas third baseman Adrian Beltre has been selected as the Texas Rangers nominee for the Roberto Clemente Award.
The award goes to the player who best represents baseball though positive contributions on and off the field, including sportsmanship and community involvement.
Earlier this season Beltre was tabbed as the team's nominee for the Marvin Miller Many of the Year Award.
The winner will be selected by a fan vote which begins Wednesday at chevybaseball.com.
