Drosselmeyer - Was unhurried in the early stages, was strung out five wide leaving the first turn, raced under a sung hold while in good position continuing well of the rail along the backstretch, rapidly closed the gap circling five wide approaching the quarter pole, gained on the leaders when roused sharply under left hand whipping in upper stretch, made a run to challenge in midstretch, surged to the front inside the sixteenth pole then edged away with the rider switching to the right hand whip in the final seventy yards.

Fly Down - Steadied in a bit of traffic briefly nearing the first turn, raced in good position on the backstretch, save ground approaching the far turn, launched a rally just behind the winner in the three path on the turn, angled to the outside leaving the three-sixteenths pole then closed late from outside to narrowly gain the place.

First Dude - Sprinted clear soon after the start, angled to the inside, set the pace along the rail while being pressured mildly to the turn, maintained a clear advantage into midstretch then weakened under pressure in the final sixteenth.

Game On Dude - Raced just off the pace from outside for six furlongs, made a run four wide to threaten at the quarter pole then flattened out in upper stretch.

Uptowncharleybrown - Was well placed along the rail in the early stages, saved ground in the backstretch, lost the eight pound weight pad at the seven-eighths pole, saved ground in good position to the turn, lodged a mild bid in upper stretch and lacked a strong closing response. Following a stewards inquiry, Uptowncharleybrown Was disqualified from fifth and was placed last for losing the eight pound lead pad on the backstretch.

Stay Put - Broke in the air at the start, raced well back for seven furlongs, gained along the rail on the turn, swung six wide at the quarter pole and lacked a late response.

Interactif - Pressed the pace from outside to the quarter pole and gave way.

Stately Victor - Failed to mount a serious rally while the three wide throughout.

Ice Box - Raced in hand while unhurried for six furlongs, gained inside on the turn, swung five wide at the quarter pole and lacked a further response.

Make Music for Me - Steadied after being pinched back while bobbling at the start and was never close thereafter.

Dave in Dixie - Was outrun while saving ground throughout.

Spangled Star - Saved ground, angled out and gave way on the turn.
