'Bama QB's girlfriend: AJ wants to be Cowboy

Brent Musburger may be moving to Dallas.

That is, if Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron gets his wish and is drafted by the Dallas Cowboys next year.

McCarron's girlfriend, Katherine Webb, is the Miss Alabama USA title holder whom Musburger gushed over during Monday night's broadcast of the BCS Championship Game.

In an online Q&A with Esquire, Webb let it be known that her boyfriend is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.

The tidbit was part of a response to a question about Donald Trump, who owns the Miss USA pageant which Webb competed in (she made the top 10):

"I actually spoke with him (Trump) earlier today, and he was wanting to meet with both of us if we make it up to New York," Webb said. "I'm working with his publicist trying to handle all of this media madness right now. And A.J. really wants to play for the Dallas Cowboys, so we'll see what happens."

If McCarron does end up with the Cowboys after his 2013 senior season, they will be getting a pretty good quarterback. McCarron not only has quarterbacked Alabama to back-to-back national titles, the Crimson Tide have won 25 of the 27 games he's started.

He led the country in passing efficiency in 2012 with 26 touchdown passes and just three interceptions in 286 attempts in the regular season.

Assuming Webb and McCarron remain a couple, the Cowboys will also get to show Webb on the giant video screen at Cowboys Stadium along with other celebrities in the crowd.

... And the Dallas area may be getting a lot more visits from a certain 73-year-old broadcaster.
