Badgers predictions: Game 9 at Purdue

With Wisconsin making it back into the top 25 that means more predictions! At least from around the web. Still seems like not much of a buzz from fans, but I have a feeling that will pick up for the final three regular-season games.

The Badgers are -- as I write this -- a 17-point favorite, so I guess it is hard to blame some people.

OK, let's get right to the picks:

Our own Jesse Temple via his Know the Foe series: Wisconsin 38, Purdue 20

The Associated Press' Ralph D. Russo: Wisconsin 31, Purdue 20

All three Big Ten Network analysts are picking Wisconsin to win. The scores: Tom Dienhart 48-13; Sean Merriman 45-28; Brent Yarina 49-14.

All four Athlon Sports analysts are picking Wisconsin to win. The scores: David Fox, 31-13; Braden Gall, 40-17; Steven Lassan, 34-17; Mitch Light, 41-17.

Whatifsports.com simulation: Wisconsin is given a 75.2% chance of winning with an average score of 25.4-17.7.

All five ESPN.com Big Ten contributors picked Wisconsin to win. A score of 41-24 is listed (as usual, not sure if that was group agreed upon). "Wisconsin has rolled through three straight lesser opponents. Purdue seems to be headed in the right direction, but it is not close enough to avoid getting run over by Melvin Gordon and the Badgers."

All six CBSSports.com analysts are picking Wisconsin to win. Two -- Dennis Dodd and Jerry Hinnen -- are picking Purdue with 16 1/2 points.

No surprise that all seven analysts at USAToday.com pick Wisconsin to win.

The Oklahoman's Barry Tramel: Wisconsin 42, Purdue 14.
