Here are some notes, tidbits and stats heading for Saturday's game between the Wisconsin Badgers and Ohio State Buckeyes at Camp Randall Stadium:

-- This is the 81st meeting between Wisconsin and Ohio State. The Buckeyes lead the all-time series 57-18-5, including 26-11-2 at Camp Randall Stadium.

-- Ohio State is 6-0 when J.T. Barrett runs for 100+ yards.

-- Ohio State is the only FBS team yet to allow a rushing touchdown. Since 1996, two Big Ten teams didn't allow a rushing TD in the first six games - Wisconsin in 2004 and Iowa in 2013.

-- Since Urban Meyer took over as head coach in 2012, only five FBS opponents have started a redshirt freshman against Ohio State. The Buckeyes won all five games and only two of the QBs threw a touchdown pass. The QBs: Austin Brown (21 of 35, 196 yards, INT), UAB, Sept. 22, 2012; Jared Goff (31 of 53, 371 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT), Cal, Sept. 14, 2013; Christian Hackenburg (12 of 23, 112 yards, TD, 2 INT), Penn State, Nov. 26, 2013; Danny Etling (13 of 29, INT, 89 yards), Purdue, Nov. 2, 2013; Zander Diamond (11 of 27, 0 TD, 1 INT, 114 yards), Indiana, Nov. 22, 2014.

-- This is the 10th time Wisconsin has been ranked in the top 10 and has played another top-10 team at Camp Randall Stadium. The Badgers are 7-2 in those games, having won six in a row. Of course, the last one was in 2011. And before that, 1962. So this is a nice stat, but don't put too much stock in it.

-- Wisconsin has won six consecutive games following a loss, dating back to 2014. The Badgers haven't lost back-to-back regular-season games since Nov. 17-24, 2012 (at Ohio State, vs. Penn State).

-- Under Paul Chryst, Wisconsin is 10-1 when scoring first (3-0 in 2016), 4-3 when the opponent scores first (1-1 in 2016), 9-1 when leading after the first quarter (3-0 in 2016), 1-2 when trailing after the first quarter, 13-0 when leading at halftime (4-0 in 2016), 1-4 when trailing at halftime (0-1 in 2016), 12-0 when leading after the third quarter (3-0 in 2016) and 2-3 when trailing after the third quarter (1-0 in 2016).

-- Wisconsin has 17 100-yard rushers against Ohio State. The last to do it was Montee Ball in 2012. The last to do it in a Badgers win was John Clay in 2010. The most yards is 203 by Marck Harrison in 1984.

-- The Badgers have had 13 200-yard passers against Ohio State. The last to do it was Joel Stave in 2013. The last time it was accomplished in a win was 2001 by Brooks Bollinger. The last win in Madison was in 1992 by Darrell Bevell.

-- Wisconsin has had seven 100-yard receivers against Ohio State -- and are 0-7 in those games. Jared Abbrederis is the last two do it and he accomplished it twice (2011, 2013). Abbrederis' 207 yards in '13 is the most for the Badgers vs. the Buckeyes.

-- Wisconsin is 9-0 when Corey Clement rushes for 100+ yards.

-- Clement has five of Wisconsin's eight rushing touchdowns. That TD percentage of 62.5 is tied for the sixth-highest among players on teams in a power 5 conference.

-- Clement needs 76 rushing yards to pass Carl McCullough for 14th place on UW's all-time list.

-- Clement needs 1 rushing touchdown to pass Brooks Bollinger and Rufus Ferguson for 10th place on UW's all-time list.

-- Clement needs 1 touchdown to tie and 2 to pass Terrell Fletcher for 10th place on UW's all-time list.

-- Sojourn Shelton needs 1 pass defensed to pass Devin Smith for 8th place, 3 to tie Allen Langford for 7th place and 4 to tie Jack Ikegwuonu for 6th place on UW's all-time list.

-- Shelton needs 1 pass breakup to tie and 2 to pass Jeff Messenger and Allen Langford for 6th place on UW's all-time list.
