ADEAIDE, Australia (AP) Australia captain Aaron Finch won the toss and elected to bowl in the first of the three-match Twenty20 series against India on Tuesday.

Australia, with an eye on World Twenty20 in March in India, has recalled fast bowler Shaun Tait after four years. Middle-order batsman Travis Head will make his debut in front of his home crowd at Adelaide Oval while Glenn Maxwell will miss out due to a hamstring injury.

India awarded debuts to all-rounder Hardik Pandya and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah while senior pros Yuvraj Singh and Ashish Nehra were also back in the team.

Yuvraj returns after playing last of his T20s against Sri Lanka in the World Twenty20 in 2014 while left-arm fast bowler Nehra will be playing his first T20 in four years.
