SYDNEY (AP) Australia's stand-in captain Shane Watson won the toss Sunday and decided to bat first against India in the final Twenty20 international of a three-game series.

Australia, which is without many prominent players who have left for New Zealand to prepare for an upcoming test and one-day series, is also without first-choice captain Aaron Finch due to a hamstring injury.

The hosts also made four other changes, with Matthew Wade, James Faulkner, Nathan Lyon and John Hastings not playing.

Usman Khawaja and wicketkeeper Cameron Bancroft made their T20 debuts while Travis Head, Cameron Boyce and Shaun Tait were also brought in.

India, which won the first game at Adelaide by 37 runs and the second one at Melbourne by 27 runs, went in unchanged.
