TEMPE, Ariz. -- Katie Hempen scored 11 points and Promise Amukamara and Elisha Davis each added 10 as No. 13 Arizona State beat Oregon 70-58 on Friday to extend its winning streak to 14 games.

Arizona State (18-1, 7-0 Pac-12) trailed 27-25 at the half, but Kelsey Moos sparked an 8-0 run, contributing six points and a defensive rebound in first 3 minutes of the second half. Moos finished with eight points and two rebounds.

Jillian Alleyne had a strong game for Oregon (8-10, 1-6) finishing with 17 points and 12 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as the Ducks lost their fifth straight game.

"I just love this team," ASU coach Charli Turner Thorne said. "I thought we just fought and our defense kept us in there, and in the second half we got our offense going."

ASU shot just 9 for 33 (27 percent) in the first half but forced 11 Oregon turnovers to limit the deficit to two.

"Games like these are why you work so hard on defense," Turner Thorne said. "We got great looks in the first half and nothing fell."

The lid seemed to come off the basket for the Sun Devils in the second half, as they ripped off a quick 10-0 run to take a 35-27 lead with 17:08 left to play.

ASU stretched its lead to as many as 20 and held the Ducks to 11-of-26 shooting in the second half.

Arizona State is off to its best start in school history and can tie its longest winning streak Sunday when it hosts No. 9 Oregon State at 2 p.m. in a showdown for first place in the Pac-12.
