Arizona State announced its spring practice schedule Monday, highlighted by the annual spring game on April 19 at Sun Devil Stadium.

The Sun Devils, coming off a 10-4 season and a Pac-12 South title, will open spring camp Tuesday, March 18 under third-year coach Todd Graham. Spring ball consists of 15 practices, held weekly on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, typically beginning at 8:30 a.m.

As has been the case in the past, practices will be open to the public.

The spring game will begin at 11 a.m. and air on the Pac-12 Network. It will offer fans a first look at a modified Sun Devil Stadium following this offseason's renovation of the north end zone. While the project won't be totally finished, the north end zone's upper deck will be removed and the stadium's capacity will be reduced by roughly 5,700 seats.

ASU coaches and players also will hold a free youth clinic for up to 700 boys and girls ages 8-13 on Saturday, March 22 at Sun Devil Stadium.

Among ASU's top priorities in spring practice are improving special teams and beginning to replace 13 starters, including nine on defense. The Sun Devils will have a few new faces in spring camp, including new defensive coordinator Keith Patterson, who was hired away from West Virginia last week. Linebacker D.J. Calhoun and defensive lineman Edmond Boateng, early enrollees from the 2014 recruiting class, will participate.

ASU opens the 2014 season at home against Weber State on Thursday, Aug. 28.
