TERRA HAUTE, Ind. -- Arizona State cross country runner Shelby Houlihan earned the second All-America honor of her career with an eighth-place finish at the 2013 NCAA championships on Saturday.

Houlihan finished the 6k in 20:20.9 to earn eighth place, the best finish of her career in a national meet following her 31st-place finish in 2012 and her 93rd-place finish in 2011.

Houlihan was the lone Sun Devil represented at this year's championships following her exceptional second-place finish at the NCAA West Regionals last weekend in Sacramento, Calif.

Dartmouth’s Abbey D’Agostino won the race in 20:00.3, while Providence won the 2013 team crown with 141 points.
