ASU football entrance gone wrong
Kody Koebensky is a graduate student and starting center for the Arizona State football team, starting his fifth year in the program.
So taking the field at Sun Devil Stadium should be old hat. Except it wasn't during Thursday's season opener against Sacramento State.
As Koebensky exited the Tillman Tunnel and ran onto the turf -- with the traditional manufactured fog and the school fight song accompanying the Sun Devils -- one of the players in front of him stumbled and fell.
Koebensky tripped while running into the back of his fallen comrade, and as he lifted himself up and the fog continued to swirl and limit visibility, he soon found himself back on the ground -- again and again and again. Safe to say his own mates knocked him to the turf more frequently than Sac State did during the Sun Devils' 55-0 cakewalk.
