ASU baseball raising funds for Hahn recovery
TEMPE, Ariz. – The Arizona State University baseball team, in conjunction with the Cory Hahn Foundation, is hosting a “Pass The Bucket Night” on April 17 at Packard Stadium to help raise money and awareness for Cory Hahn and his family. Hahn, California's Mr. Baseball in 2010, suffered a spinal cord injury while playing in his second collegiate game for the Sun Devils in Febuary 2011 and is paralyzed from the chest down.
First pitch for the game against the University of Arizona is set for 6:30 p.m.
Volunteers, wearing gray ASU jerseys, will be stationed at every section and will be passing around the donation buckets from the third inning until the end of the game.
This is the first of two "Pass The Bucket Nights," with the second one coming on May 16 against Arizona at Packard Stadium.
