Houston Astros left-handed starter Wandy Rodriguez ended his Thursday bullpen session early because of tightness in his back.

It was Rodriguez's second bullpen session of the spring. He is expected to be back on the mound Saturday.

"I just stopped because I felt a little bit sore and I didn't want to throw more," Rodriguez told the Houston Chronicle. "Tomorrow I'll start to throw again."

Rodriguez was 11-11 with a 3.49 ERA in 191 innings last season for the Astros.
