The Reds have just announced that they have moved Johnny Cueto to the 15-day DL (retroactive to 4/14) and transferred Ryan Ludwick to the 60-day DL.
Here is the brief press release:
Today the Reds placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to 4/14, RHP Johnny Cueto (strained right lat); transferred to the 60-day disabled list LF Ryan Ludwick; selected from Louisville the contract of RHP Justin Freeman (#53).
FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal reported yesterday that Cueto was likely headed to the DL:
