CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) -- A person with knowledge of Jacory Harris' recovery from a concussion tells The Associated Press that the Miami quarterback will likely need at least two weeks before returning to play.
That means Harris would not be in the Hurricanes' lineup when Miami visits Georgia Tech on Nov. 13, said the person, who spoke on condition of anonymity because Miami had not authorized releasing information about the recovery process.
His status for the Virginia Tech game on Nov. 20 is unclear, and hinges on the ongoing recovery process.
Harris has already been ruled out for Saturday's game against Maryland, when true freshman Stephen Morris takes over as Miami's starter.
