The New Orleans Pelicans are starting a crucial road trip out West with a nasty stroke of bad luck.
All-Star Anthony Davis rolled his ankle during drills Thursday morning, preparing for the team's shootaround.
"He's going to be a game time decision for tonight," head coach Monty Williams said.

The Pelicans have done the drill Davis injured himself on every day for the past two months.
Last time the Pelicans played the Suns, on Dec. 30, Davis had a season high 18 rebounds and 19 points.
The Suns sit two-and-a-half games behind the Pelicans in the race for the Western Conference's final playoff spot.
