NEW YORK (AP) Angela Renee won her season debut on Thursday, rallying to beat Jules N Rome by one length in the $69,000 allowance feature at Aqueduct.

The 4-year-old was sold at auction last fall for $3 million to Carlos Heller, and switched trainers from Todd Pletcher to Chad Brown.

The victory was her second in 12 starts, and first since the Grade 1 Chandelier Stakes at Santa Anita in 2014.

Jose Ortiz was aboard as the 3-5 favorite ran the 1 mile, 70 yards in 1:43.61. She paid $3.50, $2.40 and $2.10.
