NEW YORK (AP) Amulay, the even-money favorite, led all the way Friday to win the $67,620 allowance feature for older fillies and mares at Aqueduct.

The 5-year-old trained by Bruce Levine snapped a string of near-misses with her ninth win in 26 starts. She had lost the previous three races by a combined margin of one length, picking up a pair of seconds and a third.

Amulay and jockey Jose Ortiz were comfortably in control throughout before pulling clear in the lane, beating Jcs American Dream by four lengths in 1:37.74 for the mile.

Amulay paid $4.20, $2.90 and $2.10. Jcs American Dream returned $4.30 and $2.40, and Agawa paid $2.20 to show.
