All-Star voting update: LoCain struggling at ballot box, now in fifth

The MLB released the latest voter tallies for the AL lineup at All-Star game next month, and while catcher Salvador Perez and first baseman Eric Hosmer remain first at their positions, a few other Royals are struggling to gain traction.

Lorenzo Cain is now fifth in voting among outfielders, and shortstop Alcides Escobar and designated hitter Kendrys Morales, while ranking second in their positions, are a hefty number of votes behind the first-place Xander Bogaerts and David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox, respecitvely.
