The Northern Arizona football team slipped in this week’s national polls, which were released Monday, following a 36-7 road loss to Montana State. The Lumberjacks are now ranked 19th in The Sports Network Poll, 21st in the FCS Coaches Poll and 17th in the College Sports Madness Poll.

Saturday's loss came in NAU's first Big Sky road game of the year and against a Montana State team that is now in the top seven in all three major polls. The 36 points scored by the Bobcats were the most by a Lumberjack opponent this season.

NAU continues road play on Saturday at Sacramento State.
