ACC opponents announced for 2014-15 basketball season
While the basketball schedule is still months away from being announced, Florida State and Miami know which Atlantic Coast Conference teams they will be playing -- and where -- in the 2014-15 season.
Florida State, which went 22-14 last season and reached the NIT semifinals, will play home-and-home series with Miami, Clemson, Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh. The Seminoles will host Duke, Wake Forest, NC State, Louisville and Boston College, and Florida State will travel to Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Virginia, Syracuse, Notre Dame.
Miami, which went 17-16 last season, will play home-and-home series with Florida State, Virginia Tech, Louisville and Boston College. The Hurricanes will host Georgia Tech, Clemson, North Carolina, NC State and Virginia. Miami will travel to Duke, Wake Forest, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Notre Dame.
Louisville replaces Maryland as the ACC's 15th team on July 1 (Notre Dame plays in the ACC in basketball).
Dates and times will be announced by the ACC at a later date.
