Sports executive Jerry Colangelo joins Matt this week to discuss his role as chairman of USA Basketball. He talks about restoring the winning pride to the men's team and who might be the coach for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Plus, he discusses the Suns organization and their rebuilding efforts, thoughts on David Stern's retirement announcement and the current economic state of sports.

Among his observations:

-- On USA Basketball's next coach: "I'm letting things pass for a little bit of time and then we'll get to it over the next 60 days."

-- On not being involved with the Suns organization for the first time: "For certain, Phoenix is restructuring, rebuilding, and it's a whole different journey now."

-- On NBA commissioner David Stern announcing his retirement: "I was aware of his plan, we have been close for a number of years, and I'm kind of happy he took the initiative to leave on his own accord in his own timing."
