1 on 1: Eli Manning

It's been ten whole years since Eli Manning was drafted first overall by the Chargers and brokered a trade sending him to the Giants.  Since then Eli worked to emerge from his brother Peyton's shadow, and into a remarkable NFL career of his own.  He has become the franchise leader in touchdown passes and completions, and set a NFL record for the most fourth quarter TD passes in a season (15).

If careers are defined by one or two plays, Eli can hang his hat on the throw to Mario Manningham in Super Bowl XLVI and of course the escape, throw and completion with David Tyree in Super Bowl XLII.  But he's not resting on his accomplishments.  Eli acknowledges he's grown into a leadership role in New York--something that was doubted early in his career.

So what's left?

He's got two rings, but has yet to beat his brother.  Eli admits he'd like to get a win against Peyton before the older Manning hangs them up.  Mike Garafolo catches up with the Giants signal caller to talk football, family and the legacy of Eli.
