Vancouver's Olympic coffers flush with cash
The organizing committee on Monday released its annual report for the year ended July 2009, showing it made almost $594 million and spent around $378 million, not including the cost of venues.
Organizers say they are on track for a balanced budget, but are still looking at borrowing money to cover any unexpected shortfalls leading up to the games in February.
The organizing committee, known as VANOC, is also working on plans to get those who owe them money to pay up.
The International Olympic Committee is among the partners who still haven't cut VANOC a final check.
