The International Ski Federation is moving two women's World Cup races in Austria from Semmering to Kuehtai because of a lack of snow.

FIS initially canceled a giant slalom scheduled for Sunday and a night slalom the next day in the Seresort near Vienna, before reinstalling the events in the western province of Tyrol.

Mild temperatures prevented organizers in Semmering from producing sufficient artificial snow to cover the Zauberberg course, and FIS women's race director for technical events, Markus Mayr, said "it's been impossible to create a suitable course due to the weather conditions."
