With two years to go before the start of the 2014 Winter Olympics, Sochi organizers have begun recruiting volunteers.
The organizing committee said Tuesday it expects to receive more than 200,000 applications from people between the ages of 18 and 80. Organizers expect at least eight applicants for each position.
Twenty-four recruitment centers will be set up across Russia.
Volunteers are expected to make up about 30 percent of the total work force at the games, which open on Feb. 7, 2014.
