Rio de Janeiro's mayor wants Pokemon Go to take over the Olympics

Pokemon Go has become a phenomenon in the United States and Australia, but the game has yet to officially launch in Europe, Asia and South America. The app's release in Brazil is tentatively scheduled for August, and Rio de Janeiro mayor Eduardo Paes is hoping the game comes out in time for the 2016 Olympics, which will begin August 5th.

The Olympic Games are already going to be an incredibly hectic few weeks for Brazilians and the hundreds of thousands of spectators expected to be entering the country. Adding Pokemon Go to the mix will almost certainly be madness.
