No one can accuse two-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White of being idle. In addition to claiming his spot at Sochi in both the halfpipe and snowslope events and adding the X Games back onto his competitive roster, the snowboarder's rock band, Bad Things, has just released their self-titled debut album in stores today.

The skate- and snowboarding mogul plays guitar in the Los Angeles-based band, which silenced many skeptics when it played at smaller venues and festivals like Lollapalooza last summer.

MTV's Buzzworthy describes single "Lonely Eyes" as "a fast-driving yet shimmering rock anthem ... with the indie edge of the Strokes or Tokyo Police club and interestingly, echoes of Morrissey." iTunes describes the album as "perfectly acceptable radio-ready recordings that are more than likely to catch your ear whether you're a fan of winter sports or not."

Just in time to add to your Sochi games soundtrack.
