A grand jury has indicted Chazarae M. Taylor on a charge of wanton murder in the shooting death of Olympic sprinter Tyson Gay's 15-year-old daughter Trinity.

Trinity Gay, 15, was killed in the early hours of October 16 after she was caught in the crossfire of a shootout between individuals in two cars in a restaurant parking lot in Lexington, Kentucky.

Taylor was also indicted in four charges of wanton endangerment. Police say he assisted in “creating the environment that ultimately led to the death of 15-year-old Trinity Gay.” He is the first homicide charge in the case and caused the crossfire, according to Kentucky.com.

Three other men have been charged in the shooting. D'markeo C. Taylor was indicted on one count of wanton endangerment. Lamonte Williams was indicted on four counts of wanton endangerment. Dvonta Middlebrooks remains jailed on a wanton endangerment charge.
