BANSKO, Bulgaria (AP) The women's World Cup racing has been canceled for a second straight day due to fog in southern Bulgaria.
Organizers called off the super-G event in Bansko on Saturday following a third interruption, after a blanket of cloud obscured the top of the 1.7-kilometer course.
Thirteen of the 56 competitors raced before the event was canceled, with three failing to finish, including Switzerland's Fabienne Suter who protested after crashing into a gate in heavy fog.
Italy's Elena Curtoni had led after clocking 1 minute, 15.74 seconds.

Super-G leader Lindsey Vonn, overall leader Tina Maze, and others in the top-5 of the discipline rankings did not compete.
A combined race is scheduled for Sunday.
