Bohonnon, Gridneva win aerials World Cup

MOSCOW (AP) American Mac Bohonnon and Alina Gridneva of Russia won the men's and women's rounds of the aerials World Cup in Moscow on Saturday.
Bohonnon took the win with a back double full-full-full jump for 124.43 points, with his U.S. teammate Jonathon Lillis second on 116.37. When Bohonnon landed his jump, Lillis rushed to celebrate together.
Russia's Ilya Burov was third on 115.84.
Bohonnon had started the event slowly, scraping through the first round as the 10th of 12 qualifiers.

In the women's event, Gridneva took first with 77.43 points for a back lay-full, ahead of Kazakhstan's Zhanbota Aldabergenova on 75.91 and U.S. skier Madison Olsen on 75.69.
