Winnipeg Jets prospect had a rough night on the ice

Ryan Olsen had a tough day at the office Friday.

The Winnipeg Jets prospect and St. John’s IceCaps player confirmed what we all largely assumed: Taking a puck to the face after getting into a fight isn’t great for one’s face. Olsen showed off the damage after the game, and well, it wasn’t pretty.

#Hockey.

We aren’t sure how he’s managing a smile either. For comparison’s sake, you can see what Olsen looks like when he doesn't take a beating here.

To make matters worse, the battle scars didn’t help the IceCaps secure a win, as they fell to the Portland Pirates 6-4.
