WATCH: Blues pelt Robby Fabbri with plane detritus after rookie officially makes team

Robby Fabbri became the latest teenager to earn a full-time job in the NHL, as he was told Sunday night that the Blues will keep him for the remainder of the season instead of sending him back to junior. St. Louis general manager Doug Armstrong broke the news to Fabbri on a flight home from Nashville, and luckily Darren Pang was onboard to do a quick video interview with Fabbri for the team website.

Fabbri of course couldn't get through the celebratory interview without some form of harassment from his teammates, who pelted him with various items from the flight (including a pillow with the Blues' logo on it) while he attempted to answer questions from Pang.

The 19-year-old Ontario native has already had a roller coaster ride in the NHL. He missed six games in October due to a concussion, but he is doing well otherwise with two goals and an assist through eight games. One of those goals was a game-winner from a 3-1 Blues win over the Edmonton Oilers on Oct. 8, as Fabbri stole the spotlight from Oilers rookie Connor McDavid in both players' first NHL game.

Fabbri is the youngest Blues player to score in his NHL debut (19 years, 259 days).
