Vancouver Giants gear up for a galaxy far far away with sweet 'Star Wars' jerseys
It looks like the Vancouver Giants are getting geared up in anticipation for the release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," slated to hit theaters on Dec. 18.
The Canadian Western Hockey League team debuted the out-of-this-world Star Wars themed jerseys it plans to rock in a Dec. 4 game against the Kootenay Ice as part of the Giants' Star Wars Night.
These sweaters are pretty slick. But it's the socks that are especially impressive.

Star Wars Night will also feature appearances by characters from the "Star Wars" movie franchise at the game in addition to the special themed jerseys, the Giants' website announced. Better yet, proceeds from the game will go to the local Shriners Hospital for Children.
May the Force be with the Giants as they try to tame those rebel Ice forces.
