The San Jose Sharks have traded forward Brad Staubitz to the Minnesota Wild for a fifth-round draft pick.

Sharks general manager Doug Wilson announced the move Monday.

The 25-year-old Staubitz had three goals, three assists and 110 penalty minutes in 47 games last season for San Jose.

The trade gives the Sharks five picks in this week's draft. San Jose has the 28th overall pick, as well as one third-rounder and three fifth-rounders.
