The Senators scored twice and gave up a short-handed goal on the ensuing power play. The Canadiens went on to win the game 4-3.

Stone was back at the Senators' bench roughly 10 minutes after the incident, but left again in the third period. He came back a few minutes later.

The Senators on Thursday said Stone suffered a microfracture and ligament damage in his right wrist, leaving his availability for the rest of the series uncertain.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
