Report: Knee injury to keep Tomas Hertl out of Sochi Olympics
For those who had dreams of phenom Tomas Hertl teaming up with boyhood idol and legend Jaromir Jagr on the first line for the Czech Republic, Alois Hadamczik reportedly has some bad news for you.
Who is Alois Hadamczik, you ask? Well, he is the coach for the Czech Republic team competing in the Sochi Games. And according to a report in that nation, he delivered some tough news about the Sharks rookie on Thursday.

The 20-year-old Hertl leads all NHL rookies in goals (15) and points (25), and took the league by storm in just the third game of this season, with four goals, including this beauty, and all while his mom and model girlfriend were in attendance.
Hertl was injured Dec. 19 on a knee-on-knee hit by Los Angeles Kings captain Dustin Brown. Hertl is scheduled to have surgery on his right knee next week and the Sharks have said they expect him to miss at least a month.
Brown received a match penalty on the play.
