Hurricanes captain Eric Staal didn't find his way onto the score sheet in Carolina's 3-1 win over the St. Louis Blues, but this photo is just plain sweet:

Cutout Comedy
Even with Canucks coach John Tortorella serving a suspension and Mike Sullivan filling in, fans in Winnipeg put an angry Tortorella behind the bench. With Vancouver now 3-7-0 in its last 10 after losing late in regulation to the Jets on Friday, that might have been the face Tortorella would have made had he been there.

Making the night more special, the Rangers collected their third straight win in a 4-1 final over the instate rival Islanders.

Let's start off-topic and just say Capitals goalie Michal Neuvirth's got a pretty nice glove hand:
However, even despite the acrobatics of the Washington goalie, the Capitals need a goal from winger Alex Ovechkin to force OT. After no result through five minutes of 4-on-4, the Red Wings were able to finally sneak one past Neuvirth in the shootout, as Patrick Eaves found space on the glove side in the seventh round for the 4-3 decision.
