Patrik Berglund agrees to 3-year contract extension with Blues

Forward Patrik Berglund has agreed to a new three-year contract extension with the St. Louis Blues, the team announced Thursday. According to Capgeek.com, the deal is worth $11.1 million and carries a cap hit of $3.7 million per year.

Berglund, 26, posted 14 goals and 18 assists last season. He went without a point in four postseason contests.

Since he was drafted 25th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Blues, he’s netted 106 goals and notched 114 assists in 436 NHL games over six seasons.
