Leafs get Kozun from Kings for Crescenzi in swap of AHL players

TORONTO (AP)

The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired forward Brandon Kozun from the Los Angeles Kings' AHL team in Manchester on Wednesday for forward Andrew Crescenzi.

Kozun was drafted by the Kings in the sixth round of the 2009 draft, and has seen action with the Monarchs in each of the past four seasons, including 43 games this season, where had 10 goals and 19 assists.

Crescenzi had a goal and an assist, along with 33 penalty minutes in 32 games this season with the Maple Leafs' AHL affiliate, the Toronto Marlies. Crescenzi played parts of the past three seasons with the Marlies. He was signed by the Maple Leafs as a free agent on Sept. 24, 2010.
