Leafs G Giguere hurt vs. Sabres

Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere has an undisclosed lower body injury and was forced to leave the game against the Buffalo Sabres between the first and second periods.

Giguere stopped all nine shots he faced in the first period Wednesday night before being replaced by James Reimer to start the second.

The Maple Leafs said Giguere will be evaluated after the game.

Giguere, who watched from the bench, has been bothered by a groin injury that has already forced him to miss 11 games this season.
