'Hawks' Khabibulin leaves game

Published Nov. 16, 2013 12:00 a.m. ET

Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin left Saturday night's game against the Nashville Predators with an injury at 15:33 of the first period.

Just seconds after making saves on shots by Nashville's Shea Weber and Patric Hornqvist, Khabibulin did not return to his feet.

After being looked at by the team's medical staff, Khabibulin skated off hunched over at the waist. Corey Crawford replaced him. The Predators were leading 2-0 at the time.

Khabibulin was seeing his first game action since Oct. 29th.
