Former Blackhawks forward Maki dies

Former Chicago Blackhawks right wing Ron "Chico" Maki died on Monday at his home in Port Dover, Ont. He was 76.

A Stanley Cup winner in 1961, Maki played with the Blackhawks from 1961-1976 and was a three-time All-Star.

Maki, who collected a career-high 22 goals in 1970-71, recorded 143 tallies and 292 assists in 841 career games. He scored 17 goals and set up 36 others in 113 postseason contests.
